The International Rail Quality Board (IRQB), is a global consortium that brings together leading companies in rail operations, system integration and equipment manufacturing. It was established in September 2018 as the first multi-stakeholder initiative to promote quality in the rail sector.

The IRQB extends its membership

On 1st January 2019, two new rail stakeholders joined the International Rail Quality Board (IRQB): Metro Barcelona and JR-East.

The International Rail Quality Board has officially been created on 18 September 2018

On 18 September 2018, during InnoTrans 2018 in Berlin, the International Rail Quality Board (IRQB) Consortium Agreement, has been official signed.
